seCTer’s small business lending program helps small to medium-sized businesses expand, upgrade machinery and equipment, and/or relocate in our region. SeCTer’s lending region includes all of eastern Connecticut, from the Massachusetts border to Long Island Sound.

Small Business Lending

seCTer is part of Connecticut Small Business Boost Fund. Learn more here.

seCTer’s small business lending helps businesses grow, including businesses that are part of our thriving arts and cultural ecosystem. seCTer provides loans to businesses that are not quite bank ready, providing them the capital to grow and succeed. We also function as a niche lender with the ability to fill funding gaps, and pride ourselves in helping our region by making deals happen.

As each loan pays off, the funds are reinvested in new businesses. We ensure that our clients get the support they need to thrive, including assistance from the Small Business Development Center, and referrals to community partners and additional lenders. What is best for the client is best for the community!

For more information about our small business lending or about securing funding, please contact Business Retention & Expansion Specialist Joe Violette or call (860) 437-4659.
